Trump has to be under a lot of stress lately too - tax returns, prepping for the debate, bombing the debate, Melania’s tape. That’s not good for fighting off infection.

If anything, I think Trump being out of commission makes an attack less likely. Anybody who wants to “attack” the US (it would be the cybers, not Red Dawn), would prefer the-wildcard-that-is-Trump not be in the room discussing reactions. It’s addition by subtraction.
I wonder if this is what the years and months leading up to WWI or WWII felt like.

I don’t know either, but the only way I see it happening is if Trump and Pence are both incapacitated and we land on President Pelosi. Maybe she can withdraw the nomination if ACB hasn’t been confirmed yet?

Don’t worry about President Pelosi. The chance of Trump and Pence dying is incredibly small.
