I hope it’s all bluster. I think it could blow up fast, and then it’s just a question of whether the racists have heart.
I imagine Trump extremists doing exactly as he said and intimidating people at the polls. This is a federal crime. Someone will do this and someone will get arrested.
Will there be violence? I kind of doubt it. I think right-wing media will rush to defend those Trump supporters by saying these supporters are being denied their constitutional right to free speech, they’ll pound the 2A despite the only relevance being that the Trump supporter showed up armed to the goddamn teeth.
But otherwise it’ll look increasingly absurd to anyone but the small portion of people still drinking the Kool Aid. It may even backfire, though I’m not naive enough to get my hopes THAT high.
I can’t even see them trying to block people from voting. Just waving their flags and chanting from a distance as an attempt at intimidation.
Not sure what the rules are as far as that goes but actually trying to physically stop people from voting I dont see happing.

Hell add on individual names of people that he called out on social media. Biden should bring a list and when Trump questions his memory or makes the obvious “teleprompter” jab he could say that the list is so long no it couldn’t be memorized.
Would probably put Romney and McCain at the end. “All these people are wrong, incompetent, or lying President Trump?” Think about every person that you could put on the list. Professions too. This is simple messaging that everyday people who socialize understand.

I hope so. I guess it just depends on how aggressively the feds will act to stop even distanced intimidation like what you describe. I imagine they could position that as just cause, though my concern there would be that it would be perceived as further law enforcement brutality and would backfire.
I hope not and certainly think it’s less than 50%. But it’s not 1-3% either. If 17 year old Kyle Shithead is applauded what is the next moron going to do?

I believe there are laws prohibiting campaigning within x yards of the polling stations.
What are the laws for how far white nationalists militias have to be from polling stations before they can conduct citizenship checks on potential voters?
