I think the first step is to hire a 55-year-old social media liaison whose only experience with Twitter was a 60-minute intro course in 2007

Blockquote
By abdicating the role of prosecutor, Mueller cleared the way for Barr to take it on himself. Mueller and Barr were old friends. Several weeks before submitting the report, Weissmann writes, Mueller informed Barr of his intent to omit any legal recommendation. Barr didn’t object. Without telling Mueller, he saw a chance to disfigure the report into an exoneration of the president and thereby make its damning truths disappear. “Barr,” Weissmann writes, “had betrayed both friend and country.”
And Mueller? He was incapable of navigating the world remade by Trump. He conducted himself with scrupulous integrity and allowed his team to be intimidated by people who had no scruples at all.
JFC what a disaster
We entertain great or tragic happenings in making
BOB MUELLER DID NOT CONDUCT HIMSELF WITH INTEGRITY HYACHACHACHACA
So the new bombshells are:
-tax fraud
-LOL Mueller
I’m sure Donnie shaking in his boots.
“Finally someone with balls”
Welp this is what I was hoping wouldn’t happen. Looks like they’re gonna go all in on confirming before the election and full on cheating and having the supreme court rule in their favor. No other reason to do it before the election.
If they confirm before the election we’re done as a democracy. That insane scenario where ICE seizes all the mail in ballots if Trump is ahead after election day is super live and this supreme court will uphold it.
You’re going to see all of the following:
- physical intimidation of voters
- physical disruption of counting votes
- wall to wall propaganda about fraud, slurped up by the media and amplified via Facebook, Brietbart, etc.
- slowing down the count via challenging literally every mail in vote (challenge every single signature match)
- legal cases asking to stop the count because the integrity is questioned, is taking too long or both
You may see:
- troops at polling places
- troops at counting places
- violence against urban voters
- destruction of ballots
I currently think there is a better than 50% chance the Supreme Court hands an election Biden clearly won to Trump. The only thing that could prevent it is a massive landslide.
There is definitely a distorted perception of integrity out there where it is defined as not risking one’s personal reputation, even if it means allowing other people to do bad things. That’s just crazy, integrity is as much about speaking up as it is about anything.
Maybe I’m the SweetSummerChild for today, but I’m heartened by tweets like this. Over the past few weeks, Trump’s position has evolved from “Mail-in voting is bad and people should go to the polls on election day” to “Unsolicited mail-in ballots, as opposed to regular absentee ballots, are terrible and fraudulent herpa derpa”
Now he’s explicitly endorsing systems where mail-in ballots are proactively requested by voters. The more he says this, and the more it’s echoed by conservative media, the harder it should be to pull a bunch of shit on election night in critical states that aren’t doing unsolicited ballots.
5 states have done unsolicited ballots for a while:
Colorado
Oregon
Washington
Utah
Hawaii
5 more states are doing it because of COVID:
California
Nevada
New Jersey
Vermont
D.C.
This list includes zero swing states. Trump made 3 separate tweets last month endorsing the mail-in system in Florida. By extension he should be fine with the systems used in AZ, PA, GA, NC, MI, MN, WI, etc.
tl;dr: Trump has locked himself into a position where he opposes only unsolicited mail-in ballots, which are not used in any important swing states. This is a good thing and grounds for hope.
Gonna reply that this was so obv BS Riverman put It more emphatically than I was gonna.
Mueller turned out to be a total fkn charade.
Never, ever, ever, ever trust even a so called “most principled Republican”. Mueller is a fake ass “high integrity” guy. He showed that he’s just another partisan Republican who puts party over country.
It is ALWAYS party over country, even when it’s the so called best of them. If you ever doubt this in the future, just look back at Robert Mueller
Yeah but all he has to do to change this position is the “lol fuck you” argument.
I refuse to tip my hat with any sympathy to Mueller unless he posts a video saying guys, I fucked up. He’s guilty. He should have been removed from office. He should still be removed from office. He should at minimum be VOTED out of office.
Until then it’s like lol, yeah you fucked up, is that the end of it? Nothing else to say?

Imagine being this insecure LOL. This is what Trump worries people think.
