The only reason this is ‘laundering’ is (as far as I can tell) because the US government is currently unilaterally waging economic war on the Iranian people, and, quite literally, killing some of them. The article continually only mentions US sanctions.
I’ve no doubt some dodgy pieces of shit are involved, they always are in this sort of thing, but it’s worth bearing the above in mind.

The disturbing thing about the rhetoric of the Dems overthrowing law and order and usher in an age of totalitarianism is that it’s a mirror of what the Republicans will do, and helps to justify their power grabs.
