the fact that trump can’t stop running his mouth to BOB FUCKING WOODWARD, noted president-taker-downer, does not bode well for his ability to keep his mouth shut when talking to KJU or Putin or anyone else.
Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX just made this stuff up, just told Trump they built a Death Star, on the assumption that 1) it would make trump feel like a Big Boy President and 2) knowing he would run his mouth and tell everyone

Thats a better strategy than feverishly screaming DO NOT CONGRATULATE at him hoping he won’t say it. Trump is one of the easiest people in the world to manipulate if you’re willing to debase yourself with fawning praise. That’s why you get so much Dear Leader nonsense from cowardly Republicans, they know that heaping undeserved praise on Donnie Dumb Dumb is a necessary step.
