Is that a rag-doll?
Sending good vibes your way and I hope your dog is ok.
Hey I appreciate it. I think we’re out of the woods now. According to poison control, the menthol and eucalyptus oil could irritate her a bit but isn’t that much of a worry unless she starts vomiting repeatedly (she didn’t). The only remaining worry was blockage due to the individual wrappers, but she passed one of those yesterday and just had a clean poop this morning so I think we’re good there too. Stupid dog -_-
It’s a kitty corgi lol nah his legs are normal length, that photo is weird
Anyone got a good pet cam recommendation? After the cough drop incident we think we’re gonna grab one. No real requirement other than being able to check from phone, which I assume is standard. I don’t think we need a treat dispensing one but am open to recommendations.
Just get a cheap cam from Amazon. Lots that let you talk too for like $30. Does same thing. When it’s branded “pet cam” you will pay 3 times as much for same functionality.
In 2010 we were in line for the WH tour when we saw Michele take Bo outside to do his business. Prolly a couple of hundred feet away but we did see the first dog take a shit.
Bo Hussein Obama would shit on the WH lawn.
(“Hussein” stolen from twitter.)
He has gotten too big to fit on the stairs properly but still has to make sure he is a tripping hazard.
He knows his own worth.
Dog post is a ruse to let us know a female was at the campsite. BBV nonsense.
Awesome pooch
First time visiting him in over four years. Four years is a lot in doggie time, he is significantly reduced but still living ok at 12. This is how excited he was to see me…
His cancer was a little worse than expected when they checked the tumor post-surgery. Docs are recommending chemo. If I were still in charge I probably wouldn’t do it because in his current condition I don’t think spending $5-6k for another six months, maybe, is really all that worth it. (He’s also not in imminent danger and could live awhile longer.) I think my ex-wife will probably do the chemo, in part because I assuaged her fears about how painful it would be for him, and I’ll probably pay for half of it. I don’t think it’s a wrong decision, it’s very close and there’s a lot of emotional attachment.
Back on December 5th, my nearly 1 year old dog grabbed a puppy teething chew - I had stupidly left it in her toy box, I should have thrown it away after she got too old, it was meant for puppy teeth/jaws not a strong chewer. It was this Nylabone:
I wasn’t watching her and she chewed off and ate a huge corner of it - basically one full “bone” section from the ring to the edge. Because I wasn’t watching her, I didn’t know if she chewed it up in small pieces, or swallowed it whole - but knowing her there was a good chance it was swallowed whole, she tried to do it all the time. Small pieces would be no big deal, but if she swallowed it whole, it would never pass through her. So I took her to the emergency vet, they took xrays and saw no signs of anything big, and thought that it had been chewed up. They said just watch her carefully the next couple of days. She was totally fine. Again that was December 5th.
She just vomited it up, 6 and a half months later. She swallowed the whole piece. I can’t believe she didn’t need surgery.
Holy shit.
Get a new vet
Here’s the piece and the culprit. I do have Trump hands, but it’s way too big to pass obviously.
The coloring changed on the piece but you can see the ridges. Hopefully no chemicals that can hurt her leached out over the SIX AND A HALF MONTHS this thing was in her belly.
You’re rich!
Not as rich as Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
