That doesn’t seem like a bad trade to move up that far. Also, seems like a good pick for the Lions.
Smart for Lions to draft guy that won’t play half the year as it helps the tank.

Pretty shocked that the Lions gave up so little to move up
BOOM
lions front office is different now
Lots of teams like “we could have traded up for that”
oh a first round pick WR named Williams everyone approves of I’m sure that will go great for the Lions
Lmao @ the eagles trading up before even seeing who lions took
Is Kiper declaring him a Hall of Famer on ESPN?
I’d normally knock the Lions for moving up so much for a WR but they paid a pittance for it.
Eagles trading up? CB? I saw the McDuffie usually goes around here in mocks
Is the WR run because teams can expect more production from a young war. Seems a little unbalanced so far.
just board I think this about where all of them were projected to go
I hope eagles traded three 1st rounders to trade up
Feels nice to have your team do something aggressive and get a great player
From all the mocks I’ve read these WRs are all gone by Chargers or Saints (original position) so not too crazy.
Lions crushed that right? Gave up very little, super high upside
Couple reasons…
WR seems to be the biggest bang for 1st round buck at improving offense and win totals. See: Justin Jefferson and Jamarr Chase
In a world where Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams are getting 30M a year, getting young cost controlled production is worth it.
Also 1st round picks can have a 5th year option picked up for even more team control
Look at all the WR who have been demanding trades and new deals.
All this. It’s why all the Deebo to Jets rumors were pretty unrealistic.
I think so. Bama is a ridiculous WR football factory. Amari Cooper, Jaylen Waddle, Devonta Smith, even Henry Ruggs was looking good before his catastrophic lapse in judgment.
Plus he’ll miss the first part of the year recovering, so that’ll help the tank
And it seems like they gave up very little to move up so far… Just a 3rd and a pick swap in the 2nd to move up 20 spots in the first round
I don’t see how Eagles wanted Williams, but didn’t top what Lions traded. Unless Vikings just were idiots and didn’t shop the pick.
that’s a pretty damn good haul for 2 spots for the texans
