Belichick’s stock has taken a hit but to say he is terrible is a bad take

How many more years of contending-for-last-place-without-Brady until you are willing to reconsider?

Well he’s made the playoffs and finished one game out of playoffs in two years so probably at least a few more!

And I’m not suggesting its a Belichick only thing, but boy is there a great correlation between legendary coaches/GMs and legendary QBs.

Well we agree that Brady deserves a lion’s share of the credit for the Pats success. But if you’re going to give him zero credit for the last 20 years it’s a bit unfair to assign all the blame to him when he has a below average QB.

The natural conclusion would be that Belichick without Brady = Mike Tomlin without Big Ben

Yes, that was exactly my point with Cowher, Coughlin, and Schottenheimer. They’re all coaches who were winners for a long time without a legendary QB.

The context of the previous posts had me 100% reading this as Brady being drafted to play middle linebacker, and I got very confused.

Seems to be some confusion about whether the flight actually took off at 2pm, or at 3pm.

Looks like the Bengals forums mostly want this to be true, err not actually waving the gun part but having a reason to cut him and save $10M in cap space. Wasn’t that long ago really garden variety derpers would have been complaining about not being able to resign our own. Today it’s no money in fan bases, everyone’s solid.

Now that he has a warrant out for Aggravated Menacing (threatening a woman with a gun) it’s time to cut him. $10mm cap hit, 7 years in, averaging 3.9 YPC (league avg is 4.5), draft a RB in the 3rd or 4th and get the same production.

Aggravated Menacing? What did he do, threaten to show up next year and play under his current contract?

“Police mistake” (go figure)

I still cut him but this doesn’t make it easier, that said I’m glad it apparently didn’t involve a gun or was not “serious?” (WTF knows)

Tough scene.

Well they’re probably correct as far as what’s best. RB is the most replaceable position, and Perine seemed more than capable when asked to step in.

They’re absolutely correct. There’s a funny point in here though which is an early release saves $7M cap, but Jun 1 triggers $10M. These fans want a Jun 1 release lololol. Gone are the days where square GMs could just float by.

Dunno why some people are saying 2nd and Walnut. It has to be 3rd and Walnut, and the warrant confirms this, which would certainly map onto his most logical route to the stadium assuming he is coming from home (very SE sector of Cincy which is known b/c one of these morons tweeting the warrant doxed him before redacting). Timeline makes sense to me if it was arrive at 1 PM, bus leaves Paycor for CVG at 2 PM, flight at 3 PM.

I thought current consensus was the police never get it right, certainly not when it involves a black arrestee.

What in the world is this crap passing as the “pro bowl”? Some shitty fancy catch competition that incorporates the worst interest-killing aspects of the slam dunk contest and for a bonus they throw in that bum Pete Davidson.

The should do a celebrity tackle football game. That would be entertaining.

Injuries wouldn’t be as much of a concern; Davidson can get photographed out with a Kardashian or whoever while he’s in a cast

This is so bad, I’m struggling here

I can’t even imagine how bad this is in person, hopefully the crowd is getting paid.
