The NFL Thread 2: 1. T Swift

the Lions can knock the Packers out of the playoffs if the packers are still alive the last week no matter what the lions or packers do before that. First time in a long long time that america has needed the Lions to do anything.

Do you give a fine for this?

I haven’t found any footage of the unnecessary roughness penalty he got on that last fumble, which ended up making them start their last minute drive from their own 24.

Hackett.

Wilson has limitations which have become much more apparent without Pete handling him. Russ needs a system around him which minimizes these deficiencies and he could still be a mid-tier QB. If you swapped Russ and Geno, both teams might be better. If you swapped Pete and Hackett, the Seahawks would suck ass and the Broncos might make the playoffs.

Yeah, Russ may have damaged his legacy a lot, but Hackett is absolute trash tier.

Hackett or Freddie Kitchens who you got

kitchens is a senior football analyst right now for south carolina

dunno what that does other than here’s some job from a friend

They should really punish this team in a serious way.

jfc

They should make Miami forfeit their first rounder.

In 2024, I guess.

Tua needs to be done playing football.

Why? NFL has basically assumed full responsibility at this point. They make the call if he gets evaluated and pulled. They’ve got their own neurologist and their own spotters. They’ve basically done everything they can to take the decision out of the team’s hands.

team can still pull anyone when they want, the dolphins just don’t give a damn

this doesn’t absolve the NFL sure but god man some games even a slight hit they got people looking at it, except for the dolphins somehow

maybe you’re right i don’t know but they are letting this kid get brain damage

I guess that’s true. However, I can absolutely see the team saying, “Well if the NFL’s crack team of concussion experts and spotters is OK with him being out there, who are we to judge”

Still shrugging at a Fields for Tua trade?

i’m shrugging at wondering why you think that would still work out for you

i’m a bears fan it doesn’t matter they all suck as a passer anyway

“work out” might be a bit strong. Definite upgrade, tho.

It’s really hard to know what to think after seeing them completely ignore Epps hit on Burks.

I haven’t seen a hit that dirty in a minute. Not even a fine.

Please lions please. I don’t want Aaron and Tom both in nfc playoffs. Also go Carolina.

Tua was the highest rated passer on deep throws going into his last game.

I think the hardest problem is that not all players take the hits the same. The same hit that is going to end a several-times-concussed Tua’s career could be a legitimate nothingburger for a different guy.
