So weird that a company can just send an employee to another company in another city.

it probably should be illegal but then thatā€™s 100x less fun for us

also wtf at claypool for a 2nd rounder, what on earth did he show that warranted giving up what we just got

and itā€™s the bears pick they gave up not the ravens one god

This is madness.

I went from alright they traded roquan for picks that made sense to they just dealt that value for chase claypool

well heā€™s a bigger receiver so he better be able to run block thatā€™ll be needed

Apologies, R.C. I had no idea slappy was such a slur.

Anyone wanna help me out here? Is calling someone who really likes X an ā€˜X slappyā€™ really that offensive?

Slappy=errand boy

Yeah, I kind of was aware of that. I just didnā€™t realize people took that much offense at it. Iā€™ve really only seen it on 22. In SE, for example, people routinely call fans of some team or player slappies. The implication is that they love the the player/team so much that player/team can do no wrong in their eyes. Iā€™ve never seen anyone take offense at that term. Iā€™m sure Iā€™ve called people slappies dozens of times. Donā€™t recall anyone indicating that they were offended by it.

I kind of feel like Iā€™ve been throwing around the c-word on the reg, without realizing how bad it was.

I prefer thinking that slappy is short for slapnuts and suggests that someone masturbates to everything done by the object of their fandom.

The c-word is the ultimate test word. Used in the right situation and itā€™s instantly magic. The other 98% of the time itā€™s pure trash.

An Italian worker said an Italian phrase (essentially beautiful P) whispered to a woman will either get you in or get you slapped. Nothing in between.

I think I have heard that as well. But this doesnā€™t help me. Hereā€™s what Iā€™m after. On a scale of one to 10, where

1=youā€™re wrong
10=youā€™re a stupid c-word

What does slappy get? I legit thought it was like a 2.5 at most.

I think ā€œslappyā€ is just old-speak for ā€œstan.ā€

I think stan but with a more negative connotation. Someone that follows someone like trump and is completely blind to what he is would be a slappy more than a stan.

Looking on urban dictionary this would be closer to the derivation from slap-dick. Maybe what thatā€™s about?

I agree with 2-2.5 assessment but to each their own. Iā€™m unaware of usage beyond things meaning obviously foolish devotion to someone/something that doesnā€™t warrant the devotion.

Bernie Has stans
Trump has slappies

I donā€™t get drunk driving punishments in this country. If you bashed a five year oldā€™s head in w a hammer you would get more than three years.

As for slappy I donā€™t view it as very offensive.
