The NFL Thread 2: 1. T Swift

How much of this crazy shit did he do pre-Burfict?

well he was a star then, so it wouldnā€™t have gotten out as much (see how many times watson before that got out) editā€“but he was known as being really unprofessional back then

Yeah, but generally once it gets out, people go digging and then all of the skeletons in the closet come out. Did that happen with AB? I legit have no idea.

A quick Google led me to this which indicates heā€™s always been a terrible person. A one-time hit by Vontaze Burfict does not absolve Antonio Brown

that article when school officials (FIU, the only school offer) informed Brown of their decision to expel him, they told him ā€œWeā€™re going to say you were never here.ā€

also about burfict, he had to stop brown from uh, whatever he was gonna do to mayock

the nfl where if any critical organ has issues a few days ago, too bad get in there and play

Can you think of a good reason he shouldnā€™t play? Iā€™ve never seen a patient have discharge limitations from a cardioversion.

thereā€™s no reason to not play after a cardioversion for afib.

LOL JETS forever

All the bad teams doing stupid bad team stuff

the sneakers game is known, but lesser known is that there was a sneakers game II, involving the sneakers bought after the 34 title game that halas had the team wear

in 1956.

could write a book alone on the Bears legendary frugality (sidenote, game was super cold halas wasnā€™t coaching but was around and remembered to get sneakers, the giants got brand new sneakers, halas just pulled out the 22 year old ones from the closet, needless to say that did not go well, they got blown out again)

They almost beat the Packers on the road with a 3rd string QB forced into the game due to injury. They might well be back at the top in a couple of years, and probably wonā€™t finish last in the division this year, although they wonā€™t recover from a 1-3 start to make the playoffs like they did last year.

I was right. LaFleurā€™s challenge of the Doubs TD drop was a classic Mike McCarthy ā€œI donā€™t like the result of the play, so Iā€™m challenging.ā€

At least he admitted it was stupid. Lots of coaches would be stubborn about it:

ā€œIā€™m not too proud of that moment,ā€ LaFleur said. ā€œThat was an emotional decision, and I think itā€™s a great learning lesson that you can never make those emotional decisions in the heat of battle. You know better. Youā€™ve got to survive the ground. Connor Lewis was in my ear, heā€™s up in the box and heā€™s in my ear, and he said, ā€˜I donā€™t think so.ā€™ And he said that we shouldnā€™t challenge it. Just made an emotional decision, and it was almost like throwing a Hail Mary. That could have came back and bit us in the butt.ā€

And Rodgers fully admitted he played poorly in the first half. He said the pick-six was so badly thrown that the defender actually overran it.

they all have a guy with the feed who has one job, tell the coach whether to challenge or not and he just ignored that

why bother really

Yeah, itā€™s pretty ridiculous. At least he was well aware that he fucked up (and WHY he fucked up) and admitted it. Thatā€™s one thing I like about LaFleur - heā€™s always cool about saying ā€œyup, that was dumb of me,ā€ rather than getting all defensive and yelling at the media that heā€™s the coach and he knows better than anyone.

if the steelers do go to pickett now I think thatā€™s just crazy

next 4 games @ Buf, TB, @ Mia, @ Phi

if you want to take a shiv to any confidence he has thatā€™s a pretty good way to do it

I wouldnā€™t do that
