He seems objectively quite good, but he also seems very irritatingly religious and hard to like for other difficult to describe reasons.

Yeah, thatās another way to put it. You really want someone better than a fringe top ten guy, but if you give him up, you will probably get someone worse.

For me, Carr is exactly the qb you want your division rivals to have.
Too good to bottom out the franchise and give them a shot at picking a guy thatāll kill you for a decade, but not good enough to transcend and ever really scare you.

Could be so, although my gut reaction is this is an agent feeding a story to an āinsiderā to spin the story a certain way to try and salvage a future for AB. If thereās some type of forthcoming dispute or grievance over money, I assume the Bucs will be spinning also. Probably a situation where the truth lies somewhere in between? I donāt know.
I also canāt imagine that a coach can actually release a player by telling him on the sideline, mid-game, that he is ācutā.

I have no idea what goes down on an NFL sideline but it sounds like there is a process players need to follow if they are injured by going to the training staff and AB didnāt do this, just told his coach ānah.ā So maybe AB really was injured but didnāt go through the staff, Bruce thought he was just being an insubordinate ass, and this is what happens.

If the NFL were the sort of league to rig games, wouldnāt they have wanted Cincinnati to lose and Cleveland to win this week to set up an actual head-to-head battle for a division title in the last game of the season? Whatās the week 18 game most worth watching from the perspective of both teams having something to significant to play for?
