This is true pretty much for all of the teams, though. Dallas is stuck in purgatory, MAYBE winning a playoff game or two a decade until Jerry shuffles off. NE will be in good shape until Kraft expires in a tug shop because he leaves football decisions to people who know what they’re doing. And Cincinnati is doomed until Brown dies. Just depends on who the owner is and what their approach to running things is.

Cincy is better off without the Bengals as much as the owner has screwed over that city. Hospital or a football team, tough decisions. (it ended up being the football team of course)

Leigh Steinberg was on Jay Mohr’s podcast a couple years ago and Jay asked him which pro sports team was most difficult to work with and he said BENGALS before the question was even out of Jay’s mouth
