80–Bowden (traded immediately)
81–Edwards (flashes but mostly only at the very end of a game) next pick never played for them
and two guys I’ve never heard of and they didn’t draft after round 4 oh man what a draft mike mayock/gruden what a draft it’s 2021 and we got a new WOAT contender
those two guys are john simpson and amik robertson. that’s the entire draft and they might not have much at all out of it after this year but a guard.
In a just world, Green Bay would sign Kaepernick.

Why in the hell would the Texans not take that? Have to assume all the packages were contingent on Watson being cleared of all charges.

Kind of. Teams also wanted the league to say that they wouldn’t suspend Watson pending investigation or similar assurances. Those never came, so no one would take Watson with the risk of him not being able to play.
