Well, Clyde hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire, and if Bell still has the old talent level he should be a pretty versatile guy they can use in the slot, or in obvious passing situations (Darrel Williams got a bunch of those snaps over Clyde last week when the Chiefs were trying to come back). Not sure how it’s nothing but downside to get a guy cheaply who’s played at a high level before and isn’t that old.

CEH hasn’t been great, is tiny, and our O-line kinda sucks right now. Darryl Williams is JAG. Darwin Thompson is even tinier than CEH and sucks. We needed a RB. Hopefully Reid can figure something out to use him well.

I have probably the best team in the over ten-year history of my fantasy league, mostly just dumb luck and not taking injuries (as always) since I got roped into drafting for a buddy who does this to me every year-- it’s a money league, the guy is a sick gambler, and I’m a sucker. I cranked up fantasypros a few hours before the draft and asked my brother a few questions.

Since the season started, I took the best team and churned trades. Managed to turn James Robinson into Joe Mixon and then Mixon into CEH while adding Crowder in these trades basically for free, the only downgrade giving up Josh Allen for DeShaun Watson.

Devastated right now. What a weird way to just get value tanked. I still have Cook and Gaskin so I’m not dead, and CEH will compete with Gallup for my flex of disappointment, but I doubt fantasypros says I have 96% playoff/35% title equity anymore.

Yeah Bell’s not even playing this week because of COVID protocols. I wouldn’t expect him to completely usurp Clyde’s load, but if the “he’s a 28-year-old talented RB who just tanked under Gase” people are right, then there will probably be a split, plus Bell could see some interesting usage-- the Chiefs aren’t exactly deep at WR (Mecole Hardman over D.K. Metcalf, whoops).
