It seems to be why they leaked their cooperation yesterday. But what I don’t get is, how can they be held in contempt when they seemed to just comply? It’s my understanding that they’re going to be held in contempt for not following a previous subpoena, but it seems like they complied. Did they not?

If the FBI needed to raid MAL to retrieve the subpoenaed documents, they didn’t comply.
