Subpoenas must be invisible. Apple didn’t know. Barr didn’t know. Sessions didn’t know. Rosenstein didn’t know. How about we find somebody who knows something?
This administration was like 100x as bad as Watergate. And nothing is going to happen to any of them.

Apple said Friday it didn’t know former President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice was asking for the metadata of Democratic lawmakers when it complied with a subpoena seeking the information.
Seems like the best excuse. All the best people are using it.
When I was younger it never made sense to me that so many people tried obvious cover ups. Now it makes sense.

He won’t get arrested because the Democrats are protecting him… which really might be the last straw for me. Letting this guy run down the clock is just about the worst thing for the EV of the country I can think of. Everything he did is about to become viable and standard with the GOP because there’s absolutely no downside. We needed a public hanging but instead we’re getting very public confirmation that the law doesn’t matter if you’re rich. The impact this will have on people’s respect for the law is hard to understate.
Trump needed to be very visibly punished worse than Derek Chauvin did that’s for goddamn sure. It wouldn’t matter if they arrested him tomorrow, they’ve already earned their failing grade for waiting this long. He should have been arrested under an hour after he stopped being president.

What do you want, Biden to have ordered the pre Garland acting AG (or Garland) to arrest trump without a grand jury? Trump got the doj to do a lot, but nothing near that. There are at least 3 govt cases currently involving Trump (ny, atl, civil tax), and there should be a lot more, but if ever it was necessary for process to proceed it’s here.
It wasn’t my idea to be born in a nation of morons where 50% support Trump and elect a near gop house and senate, but it’s better to work with reality than pretend it doesn’t exist.
