Lol, what does “actively prepare” even mean? Do they really think a fucking judge in NY is going to sign off on an arrest warrant? That shit would be a voluntary negotiated “surrender” (meaning court appearance) if it ever did happen. NY doesn’t even have bail anymore on non-violent offenses. This tweet is bullshit.

They’re cops. Just how normal people daydream about lottery winnings that they’ll never receive, cops daydream about blowing shit up and taking hostiles. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to storm Mar A Lago with a fucking SWAT tank or something? Yea I’d daydream, er I mean “actively prepare,” for that too.

The “prep” is to defend Trump from an attempt to arrest him by NY authorities, not to serve him up to them.

That’s not a thing though. Police Officers can’t just go to another state to arrest someone. It doesnt’ work that way.

OMG now I love no-knock warrants!

This seems like a step sideways. That Trump sure is a slippery fucker.

I truly don’t understand why they’re fucking around with this bullshit. His 30+ year CFO is not going to flip.

He committed blatant tax fraud. He took a $75k deduction for haircuts. Prosecute that.

I’m old enough to remember when Trump called the Georgia Secretary of State and pressured him to change vote totals. It was even recorded and released to everybody.

Did anything happen? No. LOL law forever.

trmp’s org isn’t going to flip, but they have much bigger haircuts buried everywhere, and i’m generally of the impression they are not top-notch. seems like jabbing away seems like a solid strategy.

That was how I read it. They are preparing to protect Trump from any attempt to being taken into custody.

But that’s part of the whole thing. He compensated people like the CFO by paying school tuition. This is part of the tax fraud.

And the 30 year CFO may have broken the law and can be pressured.

All they really have to do is tell him he’s being honored as Manhattan Man of the Year and give him the address of the NYC jailhouse. Problem solved.

Expecting Trump to be prosecuted is like expecting HR1 to pass, the filibuster to be nuked, the Dems packing the court and seeing UHC in our lifetimes. It’s pure fantasy we engage in to delude ourselves and the media/twitter dumbasses have built a cottage industry around it.

Trying to arrest Trump seems like a foolish and incendiary move. Continue to go after the Trump Org., and start issuing arrest warrants for Rudy and the Trump kids–Deplorables aren’t going to be rioting if any of them get got.

Agreed. Would still love to see it.

Reading the tweet, I first assumed that they were preparing for the rioting, not that they were planning to get Trump.

To extradite someone between states, you need a Governor’s Warrant, signed by the governors of both states. So like, yeah, Cuomo will sign that. How much you wanna bet DeSantis won’t? Because I’ll bet a lot of money DeSantis won’t. In fact, I would wager that the governor’s of most republican states except for maybe like Maryland would never sign that. So if Trump ever is indicted, he just will have to avoid travelling to blue states.

Or he is indicted by the Feds.
