Those same schools also pretend that almost (at least) three hundred years of settler colonialism can be condensed into the trail of tears and a picture of some clean looking but supposedly small pox infected blankets.
The reason why they teach propaganda instead of history is that you can actually learn things from history that you could apply to the present.
