The study was about averages, right? We get into the argument around here sometimes that rich people suck and are selfish and it seems like it should be obvious that anyone making that point is talking about averages and not all rich people. In this case, maybe it’s just 20% of people who are that clueless, but it still would affect the average.

This case is disgraceful. He keeps strolling into court claiming he has no income, which is a blatant lie, and the judge keeps doing absolutely nothing when he doesn’t pay child support. The dude is a 100/100 scumbag, as long as you have money the justice system will never, ever hold you accountable in USA #196. He openly admits he spent $800k on legal fees while also claiming to be broke during the same period.

The No Glory for Hate Act, would prohibit the use of federal funds for any project commemorating a president twice impeached by the House of Representatives and would further restrict the benefits afforded them after leaving office.

I had a Sapolsky video on depression pop into my YT queue and he listed the symptoms of severe depression early in the presentation. I checked every box except self harm.

Lots of folks speaking candidly about this in the mental health thread. Not promising immediate relief but I’ve always found some degree of comfort in speaking honestly to others. The world is really messed up and these are very sad times.
