I’m still lol’ing at Wallace asking Trump if he’s ok wearing masks and Trump says yes. He’s got a mask on him, he wears it when he needs to. Boom done. Neutralized the issue that Trump isn’t being an example on the COVID. And then Trump keeps going talking about how Biden wears masks all the time (ok?) and he wears really big masks (lol, what?) and the more he’s rambling on the more apparent that he doesn’t give a shit about wearing a mask and it’s all tied up in that toxic masculinity stuff for him. Even with a 6-3 court, the “ballots in the river” argument seems pretty thin. Trump is banking on a really abstract argument that I can’t see a court that takes itself seriously signing on to.
Information I garnered last night: Biden can hold his own in a debate. The dementia angle is now dead and may actually end up helping him. Biden’s stutter is real and significant, which (I think?) the majority of Americans didn’t know. Trump openly told brown shirts to stand back and stand by. Trump can be flustered. Trump fares awfully when he’s not allowed to interrupt. Biden understands that antifa is a concept, not a group. Biden confirmed he is as big a bootlicker as Trump is. Biden confirmed he’s a status quo neolib. In terms of gambling I was reassured that Biden is probably still a good bet depending on the line you can get.

Yeah, I think the sort of thing like with the mask, where Trump spouts some BS that he’s supposed to and then poof crackhead Trump pops up has some effect, especially for normies. As a contractor said to me, “That boy ain’t right.”

I mean Trump had to win and he at best tied and the debate polls show him loosing. Biden needs to do more of these and just fine tune his talking to the America people about how Trump is rich, doesn’t pay taxes, and doesn’t care.
That’s it. He’s probably never going to be able to do what I would like to for Biden to do; to be smart, witty, confident, articulate. But you work with what you got and so far Biden’s got a winning hand, if barely.

In the early part of the debate, I had a similar feeling as many – namely that this was just another manifestation of a nation in decline.
By the end, I was legit rattled by Trump continuing to double down on the idea that the results are only legit if he wins and telling his crazy supporters to go to voting and counting locations.
