This is exactly what was said prior about expectations. Unlike 2016 debates, Trump was suppose to win this one. Biden is old, senile, drooling, etc.
Instead Biden came off as exactly what he is - a below average unimpressive kinda likable old guy who is matched against a deranged monkey. Pretty good outcome imo.

Yeah. Trump being an unmitigated unhinged asshole is the main story. The fact he was more alpha doesnât really matter in comparison. You donât get to have a Mitt Romney style win when you spend the rest of the debate spewing like a lunatic.

If any of us were brought in to play Trump in Bidenâs debate prep, thatâs almost exactly how we would have acted. We might have been slightly more aggressive and rude.
