Part of me admires Trump’s relentlessness. Maybe admire is the wrong word, and maybe it’s just how narcissists are generally, but he’s been proactively spewing bullshit forever - it has to be exhausting! Like I get that he’s probably drugged up or whatever but I find it truly incredible someone can so obviously be a fraud and a failure and an idiot and still find the energy.

Blows my mind that so many talking heads are saying can’t prepare for this or nobody could have suspected it. Some of them are trying to argue it was some shrewdly-calculated strategy. But it’s just severe malignant narcissism. It was always that the entire time and all of his behaviors are predictable. Like JFC I thought these people read books and shit.

I think it’s a convoluted get out the vote play. Chris asked, OK so what’s the solution, and Trump said it’s called dominate the vote. Go vote, solicit a mail in ballot, etc.
Actually now that I consider it maybe that’s really the backup plan (like winning the 2016 was the backup plan). That’s what he’s going to launch his news network on after he loses and they’re going to spearhead Don Jr’s 2024 campaign on.
Biden isn’t capable of going too far off the Biden script. Think about it. He stuck to the plan 100%. He had a few minor quips(clown!) but that shit was scripted af. There was a 0% chance he was landing a huge off the cuff zinger.
