I couldnāt help myself and put in a buy order at 39k BTC and 3k ETH. Both got triggered, Iām out of disposable fiat (for real this time, cross my heart), so now Iām just going to enjoy the weather.

The problem with all this bad news is that it doesnāt matter if itās actually bad news, it only matters if the average idiot thinks itās bad news. Remember how many times you had to explain that online poker wasnāt actually illegal?

Iām so torn what to do with the rest of my ONE for example. Selling for BTC now means taking a $ loss, but quite a BTC gain. Last week I decided I wanted to consolidate my alts into BTC, but now Iām not sure.
So youāre saying itās down in $ but up in BTC since you bought? When exactly did you buy it?
Youād sell it for BTC now if you think it will perform worse than BTC vs fiat, and if BTC will perform better vs fiat.

I got some early March, and Iām still way up on that, but then added on in early April
Iām hoping it goes down not because I want people on here to lose money, but because I want to be able consider investing a good amount of money only to be like no way this shit is going up again and regret it in 4 years when it does another 10x

So Iāve been messing around with defi, taking advantages of early bird bonuses on the Balanced network by taking out a loan of bnUSD using ICX as collateral, and then providing liquidity in the bnUSD/ICX pool. Long story short: ICX plummets ā value of collateral plummets ā risk of liquidation of my ICX stack. Fun games! Iām not worried yet, but can we just start going back up now?

Thereās never really a capitulation. There are billions of people ready to buy high and sell low.
Well, on the bright side thereās not gonna be a next time for a few reasons. One being a whole lot more people are gonna lose a whole lot more money this time around. I was thinking it was a shame the market hadnāt āmaturedā and was somehow even more immature now, but then I realized thatās all directly correlated.
Ok so I think I solved the problem of worrying about BTC going down. You just use all your BTC to buy altcoin dips.
