This “courts haven’t even heard the cases” seems to be the nutter talking point of the moment. Like having the case immediately rejected for lack of evidence or standing is somehow better than having the case heard and then lost.

The standard for these cases to be dismissed is either “assuming everything the plaintiff says is true, is there any legitimate claim under the law”–though allegations of fraud must be specific and detailed–and courts don’t have to accept fantastical claims (eg, lizard people rigged the election") without any supporting details. Basically, they have had all the opportunity in the world to present actual evidence to courts and have failed. There were even actual hearings in some cases. (A sworn affidavit is “evidence” but, again, courts don’t have to accept incredible claims that are unsupported.)
I know people realize these BS legal talking points are radio-talk show host law, but any first-year law student knows this stuff, it’s the basis for initiating any lawsuit.

I really think a core rationale for trumpism is single-step fundamentalist religious thinking. Like God chose Trump to be president and God clearly wanted him in that job, and it wouldn’t make sense for God to make him a one termer, so the election was clearly stolen.
I mean it’s weak as hell, but what the hell can people like pompeo and meadows tell themselves, to say nothing of tens of millions of voters. I think they have to put Trump as God’s standin on the earth. To believe otherwise would mean that a comically unfit leach, game show host, and failed businessman was allowed by god to be president, which is clearly absurd, because the USA is God’s nation. Thus, by reductio ad absurdum, it is clear that Trump is God’s Chosen One.
