Raffensberger is leading the charge in asking the GA legislature to eliminate no-excuse mail-in voting in future elections.
I like how he’s differentiating now between “presidential numbers” and all the other numbers.

The impoverishment of people’s moral vocabulary makes it very hard for them to draw the kind of distinctions that are needed to understand this situation. Whatshisname pursues ends that most of us would agree are immoral, but he has the integrity to accept a loss in an election and to do his job of making sure that his loss is recorded. (Or maybe he’s just pretending because he sees political advantage in it—it doesn’t really matter.).
Certainly no one should vote for the man, but understanding that he has a form of integrity that’s orthogonal to his political beliefs is really important to a functioning political culture.

This is why the senate races in GA are so important. If we win both, I think we can pass the new Voting Rights act.
Maybe he’s Georgia’s Rudy Giuliani and this is his 9/11 and it’s only downhill from here.
No way. That can’t be done through reconciliation and we don’t have the votes to eliminate the legislative filibuster.
