Starting to look like I left money on the table not taking this bet!

These are really good!

I’d add, no preemptive pardons of any kind.

And no self-pardoning, obviously.

Trump abusing the pardon power is a good reason to not elect Donald Trump president, not a reason to get rid of pardons.

DD-MM-YY makes so much more sense than putting the month first

We’re required at work to use 01-JAN-2021 format, and I now tend to use that for every freeform entry.

Clinton’s brother and mark rich say hi. As does scooter Libby.

I forget 1.000.000,76 vs 1,000,000.76

How the hell did the world not get a standard on this one? It’s called decimal point in English so that makes sense to me.

This seems to be the most logical from an “every day” perspective, as well. It’s the way you would find a day on a calendar. Find the year first, then month, then day.

Oh man, three bad pardons? Amend the Constitution!

Roger’s pardon was totally fine by the way.

Wow

Can someone defend why the president having a pardon power is a good idea?

I’m not talking about Trump specifically, just in general.

The Founders believed that there was room for mercy in the justice system. They also believed men like Trump would never be elected by nice folks like us.

Some of them lived to see Andrew Jackson elected, so I really doubt that.

Obama pardoned like 1900 people. A huge chunk of whom had their lives ruined by unjust drug laws. Seems like a good thing, imo.
