I think it’s likely that once he’s out of office he’ll start to say that maybe these vaccines aren’t so safe after all, maybe Bill Gates and Soros are involved, maybe we’re better off letting our natural God given immune systems adapt, etc.

The possibility (and eventualities therefrom) of Democrats getting the vaccine while Republicans are resistant has been both a comical and serious topic here and elsewhere the past few days.

The average global workers wages have been going up steadily over the second half of that graph. The two facts are of course related. Outsourcing of jobs is great for workers in China, South Korea, Japan and the Philippines. Not great for workers in the US.
Great for owners of capital though everywhere.

What I think it says is that Trump is such a polarizing figure that people came out in unprecedented droves in the middle of a pandemic to either vote for or against him. Fortunately, 7M more people voted against him
It also says we’re probably going to have another unpopular president again for the next 4 years. Many such as myself, didn’t vote for Biden so much as we voted against Trump. Had the Republicans somehow primaried Trump by nominating Romney, Kasich, or just about about anyone else, I’d have left the top of the ticket blank

Agree, but even as crazy as these briefings are, they still bring more credibility (or less zaniness) to the office than it deserves
