I could see this but even if he got the biggest payday in media history it would be a drop in the bucket of the money he needs. He has to be making hundreds of millions to dig himself out. Not $30m a year.
I am not arguing that this will be like hitting the superhyperpowerball for him
licensing is more in line with his core competency (i.e. not directly running things, which he tends to fuck up) and keeps his time free for pursuing additional grifting/golfing
