Where is THEDONALD twaughting from that it’s 5:46 am?
The forum software is located on a seastead in the north atlantic
I haven’t thought too deeply about the issue, but I kinda agree with this take. Basically, if the technical issue is a close call, it’s arguably better to listen to the case on “the merits” and then dunk on it then it is to dismiss on “a technicality.”
[OTOH, if the technical argument against taking the case really is settled law, then just go ahead and toss it, imo]
Thomas cites his own dissent from Arizona v California (2020), also joined by Alito, in which the Court declined to hear a case on which it had original jurisdiction.
I believe cuba is that time zone he’s actually a deep state communist
Yep. This way they can always save it in their back pocket if they so want to rule on something like this if it’s someone less hated than trump or a closer election
Checked out thedonald.win for some easy schadenfreude and if that’s what you’re going for it’s not worth it. I don’t recommend.
Don’t go chasing Donaldfalls stick to the /r/conservative reddits and FoxNews streams that you’re used to.
Remember covfefe? Simpler times.
Hmm, what happened when you told the election moderators?
This is presuming that Trump would actually ask Mitch’s permission before announcing the nomination. There have been plenty of cases where Trump went off script, shot from the hip, and announced something clearly before anyone else had vetted it.
If he had done that in the case of a SCOTUS nomination, there’s no way he would have backed down and Mitch would absolutely have lost the battle of wills.
well, obviously on both counts. But “not knowing jack shit about this” has never stopped him in any other regard, so why did he defer to mitch/GOP establishment in regards to SCOTUS?
Good morning Dum Dum.
