It’s crazy describing these people as ‘relatively moderate’. The republicans behind QAnon are absolute geniuses moving the overton window as much they have.
I’m starting to think guillotines aren’t far left enough or a strong enough message for moving the Overton window the other way.

I worry it is going to take the crippling poverty faced by a huge % of Americans to reach a huge-r % of them, especially whites.
The ability of a minority party to convince vast amounts of folks to vote against there own economic interests plus the raw dog riggage via suppression and gerrymander and federalist courts is just wow. Fucking evil.

Well, we’ve already established that the presidency of Donald Trump wasn’t a big enough of a crisis to move people. We might just need the collapse of the financial system, like if we had let too-big-to-fail banks actually fail. That or another world war.

I may have not been clear. I’m saying Dems would do better if they embraced a frame of class warfare, that it would be a good idea when someone else claims that it is a bad idea.

I know, it’s such an internal conflict. I want to celebrate Fox’s downfall, but what is leading to it is not great. It’s like celebrating Trump losing the election and then remembering that Joe Biden was the Dem nominee.
