Oh it’s insanely easy to deal with once he’s out of office. They go after him personally some deniable way. And it hits because he doesn’t have the POTUS force field anymore.
I mean dude they’ve got him a million ways to sunday they just have to decide to pull the trigger. The call is whether or not to shoot him, and a whole bunch of people are making that calculation at the same time… and the first one to pull the trigger gets the glory/risk. I think he’s fucked.

I’m not optimistic about this at all, how would they go after him? And as someone else said, even if he goes down he’s just going to play the victim/Martyr and that base won’t leave.
He’s probably going to campaign adversarially as the presumed 2024 presidential candidate from Inauguration Day onward. If his cult remains as strong as it is, who knows what will happen.
Because Trump is an outsider. The powers that be don’t want him getting power again in 2024. We are extremely lucky he’s a lazy 70+ year old Grade A moron.

I mean those are just three insanely powerful people on his own side who are going to be looking for any way to neutralize him they can find. Think of all the people who aren’t on his side internationally who also don’t want to see him continue to influence the politics of the US… Yeah he’s going to need some real protection or he’s going out like Julius stabbed by almost everyone.

You seem pretty confident you know exactly what these people options are and what they are capable of. He can be attacked legally, financially, on the PR front, on the platform front, and through his family members. There are a whole lot of different ways to skin this particular narcissist.
But those 3 guys represent like 5% of the global power this guy has managed to directly fuck off over the last 4 years. The second biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world would like to see him dead and that’s less than 1% of the threat he’s managed to trigger from 2017-2020.
You have to find reasons to justify why you think he’ll walk away unscathed beyond just ‘he’s Trump he always walks’. That’s not how it ends for people who live as fast as Donald.
I’ve been aware that this entire thing was written by Scorsese since the 2nd act. Next is the scene where the guy gets beaten half of the way to death out in a corn field and then buried alive next to his brother. There might be a little more back and forth, but there’s no way that Donald Trump isn’t the crazy guy who always gets killed in this particular story.

He has money problems. He has legal problems. I’m not as convinced as bored that they’ll do it but yeah there are people who could pull the trigger and royally fuck Trump.
I don’t buy the “Trump has money problems” thing. He has limitless ability to grift an unlimited amount of money in near endless ways. Aside from just asking for it and getting it from 70 million Americans, do we remember how much money the Apprentice made him? Suffice to say, his quote hasn’t gone down.
I’m also not sure I buy the whole “powerful Republicans won’t let Trump [do whatever]”. I see zero evidence of any Republican other than Mittens doing absolutely anything to stop Trump from coopting the American democracy and radicalizing huge swaths of the Republican base. Maybe they are just working on something behind the scenes, but boy you sure could fool me.

- Commit various type so of financial crimes
