I agree with this. Related, it is completely unfair that most of these people sleep well at night and will suffer absolutely no consequences for this shit. Betsy DeVos and Steve Mnuchin and Ben Carson and 100 other people just like them will go through the rest of their pathetic lives spending exactly zero time reflecting on their behavior and feeling regret or shame. Meanwhile I’ll spend like an hour tonight thinking about how I phrased something in a company wide zoom call last week. And there is no corresponding upside to being a normal human being. You just suffer more and benefit zero, because in USA 2020, having a personality disorder is unquestionably an advantage in life.
