Like I don’t think we go after Trump regardless because it would motivate the base, but I’d love for the DOJ to crawl up the ass of everyone else involved in this shit. But if we don’t win those two seats we get a Republican AG that doesn’t do shit. Mitch will never confirm anyone who will go after his friends.
I truly don’t understand the hand-wringing over who Mitch will confirm for the cabinet. We have spent years watching Trump install absolute clown shows in these jobs, who cares what the GOP has to say about Biden’s nominees. Just install them, call them acting or whatever, and move along.

Our resident law bros said acting people can only do so much, so they can’t actively go after people. Which is why it was so important barr got confirmed. Like acting AG can’t issue subpoenas or some shit or really go after people.Their powers are pretty limited.
If you just plan on them doing nothing but failing on purpose acting cabinet works. But if you want them to get shit done they need full powers.
