I don’t know why I’m remotely surprised at climate change denial from people about to lose everything, it is totally on brand for 2024 Republicans.
COVID was so much more satisfying, antivax idiots dying was so much better than climate change denial which will inevitably leave rich republicans basically unscathed and poor people with absolutely nothing.

Difficult to overstate how single-handedly responsible Rush Limbaugh was for convincing two generations of Americans that it’s okay to completely ignore all the experts and keep burning fossil fuels like there’s no tomorrow. The GOP is going to be in complete denial for probably the rest of my life, they’ll just blame the hurricanes on Jewish space lasers or Haitian voodoo or something.
