I’m not sure they’re trying to win any votes outside his base, this whole convention has been about appeasing Dear Leader’s ego and getting the base to cheer.
They busted out “empathy” earlier tonight I thought.
I’m surprised we haven’t heard an anecdote where the speaker begins by addressing Trump as “sir”.
The second goal of this convention is that whenever Trump is not on-screen, all the other speakers need to mention it. The first is that when Trump does speak, he is louder, angrier, and has access to a time machine.
