Man, these congress people are infuriating. I mean, even dumb fuck me knows that if I call into work sick, don’t go around places where the bosses might see me.
Isn’t there a class for freshmen representatives and senators where they could tell them “Listen, you don’t actually have to care about your constituents. But you have to appear to care.” They could throw it in somewhere on the how to fundraise and how to take money from lobbyists class. Same thing goes with governors.
The complete detachment these public officials have from what they do to how it’s going to appear to constituents is just amazing. It’s hard for me to fathom how they act like this.

Why did he bring this bag if he was only making sure his daughters got there safely and was always going back in the afternoon? If you don’t want to get caught in a lie so easily just tell your family to take your bag and pretend you were only carrying it around for them at the airport because that’s what Texas men do for their women folk.
