I never understood why that was such a bad reason to use.
They charge the same for tickets and TV advertising. Revenue side is the same. Some would argue that often the women’s matches are better draws. Bottom line sports is entertainment.
Get your point but it’s not piece work or hourly pay.
I remember seeing for Wimbledon specifically, men’s semis and final always has higher TV ratings than women’s. But it’s been a long time since I read or even thought about it.
I have a pretty light frame, 10.1 or 10.6 I think; I’ve added like 5 grams? of tape to it, is there anything about a lighter frame that should stop me from just adding more weight via tape? As in I want to add some more. Like I popped a string on it yesterday, strings were only 2 months old and I put the tape on ~3 weeks ago.

I have the lighter version of Feds racquet. I added 4g mid head and 4g in the throat. Perfect. Doesn’t have anything to do with the strings.
Go to an actual tennis shop and talk about strings with them. How you play. If you have any arm soreness. Then if durability is important. They will hook you up with what works for you.

This match is amazing!
Went to tennis hall of fame this weekend. They of course would like to overcome their elitist origins.
Being in Newport on the site of the rich people club, and the rich people who build the most ridonkulous mansions as summer homes does not help.
Not complaining, the whole setup is nice. They do allow the public to use the courts (for a fee). But overall it’s pretty elitist.
