you have to realize it counts all the people who buy and snap list it for +$10 whatever they got so I agree it’s a bit lower than I would be, except for some of them I think got hassan whitesided
Oh I imagine they have to do it, I just mean I don’t see how it’s not going to lead to the biggest crash in this thing’s history to date, then hopefully it recovers but if you’re pulling 5k cards out of 99 dollar premium packs and not cashing a good chunk of that out, I dunno, obv I would.
it seems to value basically anything 100-999 the same now, which is obviously incorrect. but im not sure of any clever way to get around that, other than set the undervalue percentage SUPER low, and/or add a filter for serials. problem is, that messes up your ability to spot other deals

Truth, but counterpoint: I’ve binked some nice wins betting on white boys leading their teams to victory in March Madness. Luke Ridnour comes to mind (but Oregon hasn’t made it to the elite eight in decades how can you pick them omg) and don’t get me started on Steve Blake (that Maryland team with Dixon is arguably one of the goat).

If they add 2k people who can withdraw a week and get 20k new users a week that problem isn’t a thing.
I think this is somewhat likely to crash and burn but outside of some C and D list NBA social media there is still a complete lack of awareness about this outside of pasty internet people. They haven’t even had their first ad during an actual nba game yet.

I know this is sort of mocking me but the good faith answer is I have no idea. Like having seen the top already and this mooning beyond belief are both very possible. I have a relatively minimal amount of money in this. If it went -90% from here I am still even. So fuck it, HODL time.

I think long term this is bigger than draftkings/dfs, and also has no chance of being banned in certain markets.
Now what does this mean for individual moments? No clue, but if done competently the average person just gets more value from this than dfs.

Rayvin still loves to overvalue random double digit serials. That Smart probably is maybe worth what it’s listed at.
It’s also a virtual free roll. I am down 5 figs even having won several 5 fig prizes at dfs in the last 6 years. Here you can rip basically free packs and trade it into huge sums.
