Take Me Out To The Blockchain - Digital Sports Collectibles

fun being back

I know nobody cares and I won’t post this type of thing again but **** it today’s haul
1600 serial Biyombo for $12, OG Anouby (sp) for $20, Morant 1290 serial of 7500 for 404, brogdon for $25, schroder for 35, simmons 2k serial for 92 (didn’t know I owned one already oof, guess I’ll try to sell the other one), a 2k serial trae for 106 (I have 3 now so might sell the worst one I have of those), 1200 serial noel for 27, and a 3k serial heyward for 75

and flipped three cards for a grand total of +$4, one of those I didn’t have but he sucks so he’s gone

schroder is already +$9, did he come back today? or did I get in before schroderbot got activated

I have a small amount of protection with the okay morant serial but he’s def the riskiest one. I don’t know if I’ll stomach holding it or not but I hope to.

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but this is just a giant fucking fad that will eventually die completely right? People in 2035 will look at this like we did the Pet Rock, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Beanie Babies

If anyone here had the ability to predict which fads would die and which would be worth millions, we would be rich enough already we wouldn’t be messing around with TS.

I for one like people saying what they bought

Are there fads that dont die? Isnt that the entire concept of a fad?

This is a digital sports card idea with the official nba licensing and it really caught on. It might die soon, it might cut into the traditional sports card market, it might become america’s new currency. Probably the first. It’s been a fun ride though

Most retain some level of ground support. Like everyone said Pokémon was a fad in 1999 now its as stable of a franchise as star wars for $$ and we have people paying six figures for individual cards

I would have considered things like MTG, Pokemon, etc. a fad back when they first shot up in popularity, and they are now worth lots of money.

i’d still rather give my money to you than whoever rayvin is. i trust you’ll stay interested in this to make fixes or whatever, and you’ll make them faster than i could have lol.

i understand your hesitancy, but being that we’re still sooo early in this, it really still could be something that becomes your niche.

plus, we’ll pay in moments

i personally think this is tied closely with the boom in collectables in general. that was my view from the moment i heard about it. since I don’t get collectables, I didn’t really invest in this either which is why i’m still poor.

I watched the NBA 2nd best rookie (i think you’re a Sacramento boy too CM, so our local hero Haliburton) opening packs and gifting people cards for 2 hours on Twitch today. People genuinely get a kick out of this. How long it will last I have no idea, it might die tomorrow + the company running it is ridiculously unprepared for this type of demand.

Can’t get the marketplace to load on my iPhone.

alright, which old bot is wonderpants

in the meantime I flipped noel/brogdon, easy to get addicted to the penny scooping

weirdly nothing really moved in value today.

labron up like 10% but that’s the biggest move of stuff im watchin

Pretty curious what the lebron assist goes for that’s coming out soon. Most of thr floor of the lebron 3 is that it is his cheapest moment. Can’t be undercut by $1300 or so.

It’s Pokemen
