I watched one of those card opening streams a few weeks back and they were mentioning that the holo stuff weighed more, and you could tell what was holo with a decent degree of certainty by weighing the pack in advance.

Yeah this has been a thing for decades, which is why you’d never buy unopened pokemon/yugioh packs on eBay. Cases/boxes sure, packs never.

I remember some 90’s boxes you knew which packs the inserts were going to be in because they’d put them in the same way in every box. (ie, every third pack or whatever)
Luckily my local card store at the time shuffled packs so kids could pull them.

I’m pretty sure this means {nudge nudge wink wink} bots are fine, and everything humans are doing to be like bots is fine. They want bots and they want people like us, that’s where all the liquidity comes from. Like, imagine if half the marketplace was HOW OPEN PDF boomers.

And, I’ll @ @goofyballer too, correct me if I’m wrong because I’m not a programmer and my only frame of reference is cryptocurrency exchanges where API bots are welcome and encouraged, but if they didn’t want bots why would they have a dedicated API page?
