Take Me Out To The Blockchain - Digital Sports Collectibles

the last hour was where the majority of the movement happened so if they go at that pace it shouldn’t take 20 hours. I’m guessing they are trying to fix the issue where it says order failed but it actually went thru

If there were some way to know in advance which would be used in future challenges that would be worth lots of $.

I spent a good bit of time seeing if I could find any patterns in the cards they choose for the CC challenges. Gave up after a while as as nothing I could see, so think was just mostly random selection. Ultimately decided just to buy lots of cheap 12k cards and spread it around in the hopes one hit. Based on $100 dollar expected value if part of challenge, I had each one worth about $16 in EV just from change they would be picked. Sold the all though once entire market spiked.

one that hasn’t been used yet probably, but the challenges suck because they’re only for rich douchebags.

Yes, my assumptions were (1) no repeats, (2) no LEs smaller than 12k, and (3) no cards over $100 (e.g. LeBron, Luka, etc). That got me to each card having about a 1/4 chance of being part of a future CC challenge. Of course, with the new releases, odds are much lower (and also possible they only use new cards).

they’ll use expensive cards and 15k’s in them, they dgaf about that

I completed the AD cool cats challenge for about $800, but that was also right before everything blew up.

They hadn’t in the first two CC challenges, and based on my calculations, the odds of a random sample not including an expensive card was less than 5%. Of course I wouldn’t put anything past them, but that was the basis for my assumptions.

nobody can buy anything and the marketplace is headed to zero

crickets

we have packs to release 2 weeks from now

SHUT DOWN THE MARKETPLACE ALL DAY

I think the system they’re trying out today is an effort to have the queues run faster and limit or eliminate marketplace down time in the future. It obviously fucked up the same way the queue system did the first time, but I see reason to believe this might work in the future.

Pack ordered successfully. No issues on my end throughout the process other than the queue taking long obviously.

current pace is going pretty fast. The line started moving at 1:15 and after 15 mins I’ve moved up 14k spots

Same, just went through

all good until they pause the line for a half hour

Yes - occasional big pack drops is better than a lot of limited drops. Just need a way to get it done in less time, or without shutting down market.

The encouraging thing is they’ve also figured out a way to make the line run faster than it ever has before, while it’s running at least. If they can get that process to a point where it works that way all the time then we have a good drop process that also limits marketplace down time.

Uh, I just got booted out of line and I’m back at the “reserve a pack” screen.

EDIT: NM - it was the buy screen. I wasn’t looking at the computer for a few minutes.

EDIT 2: Still processing after several minutes.

EDIT 3: Done

50k to go

28k spots finished in 23 mins but now it’s stuck on the processing payment screen. My buddy used a CC and it went thru right away while me using the Dapper balance is not moving lol
