Take Me Out To The Blockchain - Digital Sports Collectibles

I would probably post at something like $109. On my 1XXX serials i sort by low serial and knock off a few bucks (or maybe 5-10 depending on the card price) from the lowest price in <2000. Unless it is 1000-1500 then sometimes i may do lowest price <1500

After exploring several blockchain libraries, we found refactoring my previous Bancor front-running code to work best. The strategy was: watch for transactions that put Kitties on sale, buy out immediately if it matches the criteria. This instant reaction mechanism is pretty similar to front-running except it’s more like post-running: one cannot put the “buy” transaction before the “list on the auction” transaction, so it needs to happen immediately after. On a more technical level, there are several ways to implement this:

You wouldn’t expect this cute game to be a particularly dense arena, but we had competitors who employed each of those options trying to snatch the Kitties!

(this can be done either the naive way, by running the 3 versions from 3 accounts, or by re-using the nonce within the same account, but further technical details are beyond this story).

Like, Russian hackers stealing all of the fucking money from your golden goose then bragging about it on blogs because you are totally incompetent is a potentially very bad news story for your $2B company that people are hearing about for the first time. All they have to do with NBA Top Shot is not completely fuck it up and they’ll be rich enough to buy islands. “Russian bots seize NBA Top Shot assets in excess of $50M” is not one of the headlines you want to see in the growth phase.

I’m stuck with this 12,XXX Wiggins card that I can’t sell because of marketplace glitch, anyone that had that happen before know an ETA for when it self-resolves?

Looking more likely by the minute…like possibly today. Lowest ask 669.00

anybody selling rn is a sucker. 8 days until any chance of this bubble bursting

I stopped selling when they moved to LE but it was very much too late.

Only 20 between us and $750 :rocket::rocket::rocket::rocket::rocket:

I’m so conflicted between being happy about some pretty massive gains and missing out on potentially life changing money. If we can withdraw 🤷

does this crash when people start going outside or after the stimulus checks

I feel like the guy who traded a toothpick or whatever it was up until he got a car (or was it a house?) right now. Bought a Ja Morant for $159, ID #7XXX. Flipped if for $198, sold a couple Wiggins for $19, then bought a #1XXX Ja for $220. That one will probably go to my HODL stash. Only like 250 more of those trades and i’ll be able to buy a low serial # labron.

i bought a $57 Jarrett Allen dunk (5000 copies) from the Jordenvee dude yesterday. might be a decent buy if people put more emphasis on scarcity in the common cards.

No because it’s ETH (PoW) so they manipulate the gas price. But it’s slightly more complicated than just paying more. If you pay too much in PoW then the miners can actually put you in front of the sell order which is a brick. If you pay too little, the tx hangs for a long time (sometimes days) before being refunded. You’re lucky if you’ve never experienced that with crypto.

So, with the TOS saying no Canadian residents because they didn’t want to program it where we have to be charged sales tax…any ideas on my next play?

Same, thinking about unloading commons to free up Dapper funds. But maybe a btc deposit is better. After all, it’s all house money.
