That username no longer exists, but I doubt it’s because they banned it after @anon3530961 reported in discord. As I just discovered, you can easily change your profile name on Dapper at any time! No need to multiaccount to evade heat from people scrutinizing transactions. Hopefully the Flow wallet addresses still point to the same accounts.
are engaged.
There is also one of these moments currently up for auction on eBay that ends in 57 minutes and I’m really curious to see how that price compares to the current marketplace, especially in such a volatile market. Selling on eBay may become a very viable option to get cash off the site.
I’ll check.
The cheapest available moments currently on the site are $9, incredible!
The Zion moment sold for $510 on eBay and the lowest ask in the marketplace was $492 at close of auction. I think when I decide to sell I’m probably going the eBay route based on this. eBay seller fees are higher at 10%, but instant payment vs possibility of not being able to withdraw is a huge plus.
How much of your Top Shot account would you like to bet on this username currently existing?
Has TopShot said anything in Discord about doing anything about the rampamt bot cheating?
They just asked for account names when @anon3530961 brought it up. The problem with the discord is there are 7,000 barn animals posting in it.
Can someone PM me the UP discord?
Edit: TYTY
Lonnie Walker to the moon baby!
Since it’s not a product that’s shipped, you’re at risk of getting completely ripped off since they can say product wasn’t shipped therefore I should get a full refund.
Many won’t actually do that but definitely don’t sell it to a 0 feedback.
electronics/digital stuff is too easy to get ripped off on there as a seller.
But wouldn’t the proof that you can provide that you sent it negate this?
they don’t care. Only applies to shipped goods.
I don’t know much about (a) but I seriously doubt it’s what they’re doing. Sometimes I automate simulated .js clicks (to scrape pesky data) but I’ve never tried creating a button out of whole cloth. I’m almost positive it’s (b) but I’m only ankle deep into understanding the blockchain architecture for Flow.
Apparently frontrunning bots on ETH are pretty common but it still uses PoW. Doesn’t that simply require bribing miners with higher fees to skip to the front of the line? Flow architecture is different and I’m not really sure how the order is determined. They break it down like this:
Non-deterministic tasks require a coordinated consensus process (like Proof of Work or Proof of Stake). Deterministic tasks, on the other hand, always have a single, objectively-correct outcome. The critical insight behind Flow’s architecture was that the single biggest bottleneck to blockchain performance is the deterministic task of executing transactions after they’ve already been included into a block, and not the subjective process that requires consensus, i.e. the formation of the block itself.
It seems plausible these accounts are manipulating consensus nodes somehow, but I could only speculate how that might be possible.
These validators can optimize for security and decentralization: the roles of Consensus and Verification are streamlined to allow high levels of participation, even by individuals with consumer-grade hardware running on home internet connections. Consensus nodes run a variant of HotStuff, one of the most proven proof of stake algorithms.
So the consensus nodes are PoS and there are no miners to bribe. Can someone gain influence by putting up way more stake in PoS? I really have no idea how it works in practice. I thought this was interesting:
Unlike miners or validators for other blockchains, validators on Flow can get started as Consensus or Verification Nodes with relatively cheap hardware, ensuring broad, equitable participation and decentralization.
In the early years of the network when fees are low, the network will provide additional rewards to node operators proportional with their efforts and associated stake.
I’m not entirely sure this is the node you’d attack for transaction order after reading this:
If this is the case, what’s to stop you from buying everything topshot for sale on eBay and charging them all back as undelivered? Sounds like it would be super profitable for you.
because I have ethics
ones that don’t eventually get blocked but as a seller it’s costly, I’ve been pwned a few times even when I could prove the guy scammed me.
Sorry, I realize that question probably came off as rude. Was mostly just pressing for info.
This is a huuuge mistake by them if that’s how it works.
