A couple of points I’m not sure have been mentioned yet:
(1) MLB has its own thing and has for a while. It looks dumb as hell. Mike Trout costs as much as you’d think he does.
(2) Panini has had blockchain cards since 2019. They seem to auction them off individually using a decreasing Dutch auction (oh the irony) starting at $100k. In some older articles I found, CARD MARKET guys were bigly skeptical and laughing it off. Some probably didn’t even register all of the free digital cards that were included with their hobby boxes (how do I recover those codes?):
My biggest mover is Josh Green who had doubled up at one point today. Merrill might still be value at $30 since he’ll get 2 badges but also maybe not b/c he sucks.
Stale.db makes sense. Could he also just be a bot that doesn’t need buy buttons like Doc Brown doesn’t need roads? Like maybe it’s Slow Accumulate Bot that’s only set up to buy moments that are bigly mispriced? It doesn’t make much sense to me other than attempting to fly under the bot radar and slowly accumulate but seems possible?
