Is FVV really better than Wiggins? What am i missing with Wiggins, his card is worth like half of FVV. but i guess when FVV was 6 wiggins was 3 so they gained about same amount.
i watch zero nba

Wiggins is a bad basketball player.
FVV is a good basketball player.
Site down, hearing rumors of PACKS
WEN PAX
all i hear is SELL SELL SELL
Wiggins got more ASG votes than FVV so I thought casuals would buy his card like myself
Fred can shoot. Wiggins can’t. Fred moons if raps trade Kyle. He’s still the 3rd or 4th most popular rap
My gut is that this won’t matter too much. I also think the moments can only get better, sort of like how 91 Fleer was the worst card of all time but then shortly after we had amazing rainbow foils, metallics, and prisms. One thing I agree with Bales about is that sports cards are art, but if it’s art then some of it is better than other art. The “art” in Top Shot is the rotating cube animation and the side graphics like the wild Cosmic design. It’s pretty basic and the possibilities are endless vs traditional cards. If Series 8 is some new amazing rainbow foil holographic prism animation with Kevin Harlan screaming “RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES” I’m not sure most people buying packs will care if there are 10 trillion of them.
I’m in line I think?
for packs?
/???
Wtf appears to be some kind of test. No pack. Rage
I am tilted
it was a test and you failed. packs will come to those who wait
This is my view as well. I think long term rookie cards and first moments will be the ones that go for premiums. Don’t see why a series 2 card is going to inherently be worth more than a series 3.
The other cards that I think retain the most value will be the special moments for good players. Things like Leonard 10k point or epic dunks/game winners/etc…
I dont think even 25k packs today would cause much of a dip. That leaves at least half the userbase unable to get any.
Another takeaway from collectible markets is that there’s always stuff that turns out to be extremely valuable that no one anticipated.
