Not sure where this should go, but Romo talks over football games supposedly well, and his agents are trying to get his salary raised from $4m per year to $10m per year. Contract extension talks with CBS are referred to as ‘stalled’, which is really a nice way of saying ‘dead’.
I’m trying to figure out the last time I ever watched a sportsball contest for the analyst or announcer, like that person made it appointment television. Nah, I’m kidding, it never happened. I don’t know the guy, don’t know anything about him, but he seems like an asshole based on having an ego that huge, doing Skechers commercials, having lots of injuries, and very little success in the playoffs.
He’s a good color guy but he’s not worth more than many players earn. That’s just absurd.

Bob Miller, play by play for the LA Kings. He was always happy to be calling games and was smooth as butter. Now retired, and Kings games are on mute like all the rest.
You wouldn’t have watched the games if he weren’t announcing?
There were games I would have turned off. Went to background watching instead.
He was up there with Chick Hearn and Vin Scully as part of the attraction of LA sports.
Those were both really fun to listen to, but I wouldn’t have tuned out or tuned in because of them. Lakers broadcasts definitely aren’t the same without him, there’s no doubt about that.
