Oh don’t get me wrong. I don’t think that scenario would happen. Just that I don’t think LSU fans should feel 100% safe about losing the SEC championship game.
A lackluster win vs TAMU and then getting a beatdown vs Georgia, while Alabama stomps Auburn…I could see it happening. But agreed it’s not likely.
I felt strongly the entire time that Bama gets in over a PAC team anyway if they win out. Oregon lost to Auburn, Utah at best will only have Oregon as a top 25 win.

Its one of those I have no doubt NCAA would have said no if it was a big school.
But SFA apparently did their due diligence and set up this gofundme with NCAA’s cooperation.
NCAA says "alright Bain’s family had a legit hardship, we will allow this just because it would look bad if we didn’t, and its SFA
The GoFundMe was at 2k before Bain’s buzzerbeater. That was after 2 months. Which I’m sure is about what NCAA expected.
It’s now at 107k.
NCAA can’t strike the hammer at SFA because it is a good story. But I am sure NCAA is scratching their heads trying to figure out what to do going forward

Utah gonna get TCU’d right? Like I’d be really surprised if a team with only one top 25 win actually got in (and that’s if they beat Oregon).

Seems likely. I know shit always seems to happen championship week…
But very hard to see Clempson or Ohio St losing their title games. Can see LSU losing to Georgia, but unlikely. In that case it probably comes down to if Utah or Oklahoma looks more impressive in their title game. But there is also a very likely outcome of Utah or Oklahoma loses, and no controversy.
I think both LSU and Ohio State are in no matter what happens next week.
