South Carolina primary is today. Barring some sort of miracle, Biden is looking like he will win his first primary state ever. Final RCP average shows him with a comfortable 15% lead. Polls are open now and close at 7pm EST.
Unfortunately I don’t think this going to be too close. Fortunately super Tuesday is near enough that Biden won’t get the full bump in time, especially since there’s already been a bunch of early voting.
I admire your confidence but I expect Biden to crush and the media to fawn over him for the next two days, resulting in Bernie with a slimmer-than-we’d-like lead after Super Tuesday while the media is all-in on Joe as the presumptive nominee.
Hope I’m wrong, but until I see otherwise I’m going to continue to assume that we live in the worst timeline.
Absolute lock of the century that the media will try to crown Biden as the presumptive nominee if he wins today. They will do everything they can to give him the momentum heading into Super Tuesday, and to attack Bernie as unelectable.
That being said, we’ve all seen one or two outters on the river. Today would be a real nice time to be on the winning side of that with a Bernie win.
