183.6 lbs this morning. 1,084 calories yesterday, 160 from scallops the rest potatoes.

30 days till weigh in. 13.6 lbs left. In the last 30 days I’ve lost 12.8 lbs. Going to be tough but doable. Probably going to involve a little bit of water weight cutting at the end. My boss was a dick and scheduled the christmas party the night before the weigh in, probably just going to skip it.

Doesn’t look good really. It might have to be a lot of water weight. Don’t give yourself a stroke or anything.

I could probably make the weight cut down to 170 right now if I had to. It won’t be hard at all if I lose ten more pounds.

I don’t know much about how much weight can be lost, I just figure it’s going to be harder as you go along. But, I do understand you can lose a lot of water weight quickly.

Yeah I’m not planning on losing 15 lbs in water but say 8 should be doable.

When I used to wrestle people could cut 5-7 lbs in a few hours. 10+ lbs is extreme.

Tim Ferris laid out a five day program that I will probably try. 5 pounds in a few hours sounds horrible.

Basically, they would wear plastic suits/garbage bags and jog for an hour or two. It’s not, um, recommended.

10 days before try to eat less than 30g carbs a day.

Think I’m going to go on a zero salt zero carb diet around December 14. Basically just eat unsalted ribeye. Gross. That should be enough to zero out my glycogen stores, right?

I don’t do sauna but I take a hot bath every night. A hot bath supposedly burns 100 calories. Who knows.

I would salt the ribeye.

Seems like zero salt would help reduce water weight.

182.0 lbs this morning. 975 calories yesterday, 253 from chicken breast and the rest potatoes. Weighed in this morning on the bet scale and I was at 180.6 lbs.

I think you want to ingest a bunch and then hang yourself in the sun for a few days for the beef jerky effect.

Grunching but how exactly do you prepare these potatoes. Do you mix it up or is it always the same way? Also, any condiments?

I always put salt and pepper on my potatoes. I think I eat an enormous amount of salt, going zero salt a week before the weigh in should help cut water weight a lot. Potatoes need a lot of salt. 80% of the time I just peel them and steam them in the microwave. The other 20% is peeled, cut into little wedges and baked in the oven at 375. They get nice and brown and crunchy. Those I usually dip in dijon mustard. Other than that no condiments.

180.0 lbs this morning. 1,006 calories yesterday, 201 from sockeye salmon and the rest from potatoes. The salmon was buy one get one free yesterday at Kroger, 14.99 for two 12 oz bags. Still kinda pricey but not too bad.

As far as my alleged coolness, this diet isn’t really very hard. I’m not hungry. The only hard part is not putting myself in social situations where eating this restrictive diet is difficult. But that’s manageable, and why I told all my friends and associates exactly what I’m doing. So mostly they’re all, well, I guess you probably don’t want to do this or that, and I say you’re right, but after December 20 I will. So that’s manageable as well. But if I was hungry all the time I wouldn’t be calm. I probably wouldn’t be dieting at all.
